This project will migrate the web content of the Service Authority’s three complex websites (www.pwcsa.org, www.h2olab.org, and the “SA Splash” Intranet) from Drupal 7 to Drupal 9. Migrating content of the Service Authority’s three websites (www.pwcsa.org, www.h2olab.org, and the “SA Splash” Intranet) to the newer version of the Content Management System (CMS) is imperative as technical service of the current version of the software will discontinue in November 2023. Websites run on older versions of the platform may be flagged as insecure during third-party scans. The newer version of CMS will strengthen the security of the websites and the modules they contain; enhance front-end users’ experiences when  interacting with the websites on a mobile device; allow the Webmaster to easily manage and edit website content through a mobile device; increase front-end users’ access to website content in multiple languages; expand the scalability of the websites; and improve overall website performance, including reducing the initial load times of web pages. This project will also include a re-design of www.pwcsa.org since the migration to Drupal 9 is an opportune time to update the design of the website which not been reviewed in ten years.
