INTRODUCTION
The City of Santa Clara (“City”) is soliciting proposals from qualified firms to provide a Scheduling, Dispatch and Resource Management Platform to effectively manage scheduling of resources such as staff, contractors, and equipment for Silicon Valley Power (“SVP”), the City’s Electric Utility, in accordance with federal and state regulations.
The terms “City” and “SVP” and “bidder”, and “proposer” are used interchangeably throughout this document.
PURPOSE OF THE RFP
The purpose of this RFP is to seek a solution to manage people and equipment resources for planned, unplanned and emergency events which will provide real-time status information about resources including resource requirements, resource utilization, and work completion including restoration and repair according to Attachment A Scope of Services.
